Out And About – Barmah Forest Brumby Concerns

Cheryl says – Murray Willaton of the Barmah Brumby Preservation Group is not mincing his words about the “starving brumbies in the Barmah Forest.

“If this was occurring anywhere else than the national park, people would be prosecuted for animal cruelty. The Labor government and Parks Victoria would prefer to see these animals starve than find a way to feed them”.

I agree with Murray, this is a disgraceful act of animal cruelty and I will make a case for better management and more humane treatment of the Barmah brumbies.

Whether you are a fan of the brumbies in the forest or not, this animal cruelty can not be condoned.
